Maximizing Our Faith

Dearly Beloved,
If you are reading this, then you have observed the effects of the present pandemic around the world, and are thankful to be alive. I am grateful also for life. You would have realized also that you have used your faith to the maximum. Yes, I have grown in faith as well. According to Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1, 'Faith is the substance hoped for, the evidence of which is not seen.' Then there is Romans 10 verse 17, 'Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' The second Bible reference came alive for me, when I was experiencing a health challenge. As I sat trying to pray away my ailment, I heart these words being repeated by a Minister on a Televised service, 'By His stripes I am healed.'  Immediately i connected Romans 10 v 17 to what I was hearing form the Minister. It was then I realized, that I can be healed by just reading and believing scriptures about healing and wholeness.

More so than ever, we need to exercise our faith, in order to keep our minds pure. We have to quicken our faith. We can quicken our faith by belief and meditation. The healing is done according to our faith in the healing process. As we sit, and meditate, let us first release and let go , by taking three deep breaths. then we concentrate on emptying our minds of any pre-conceived ideas. We focus on the 'now'. We let go of the past, and future, as we enter into pure consciousness. If any thoughts of what we will do next comes in, we say, 'Not now.' We can sit in the silence for about 15 minutes undisturbed, and with an empty mind.

You see the natural mind always wants to take control, and become turbulent with things that you hear from the world around you, and have you restless. Psalm 46 verse 10 says, 'Be still, and know that I am God.' When we become still, we connect with our divine self, where all is love, joy, peace, orderly, happy, and balance. Don't you want to stay this way ? When we are in a state of pure consciousness, we can think clearly, set our intentions, and move about our day in a relaxed and orderly manner.

As we are about to enter into a new year, let us reset our minds. Let us re-connect to the purity of our being, so that we can tap into our faculty of discernment that is very necessary at this time. We need the God of our being, to be a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our pathway. We need wisdom and clarity, as we navigate through this time, and period. We can do so by continuing to quicken our faith daily, through belief in the healing process, and meditation. Please remember also in Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 4, 'A man must live by Faith.' A Healthy and Prosperous 2021 to you, and your loved ones.

Thank you.
