Dear Beloved of God,

 

My peace and love to you. If you are reading this word now, you know that we are in strange situation. They call it,' Social Distancing'. When we thought that we finally discovered that we need each other in fellowship, in order to survive, we have to separate in order to survive. Is this irony? I am now coming to grips that the doors of the churches are closed. The church is a place where we go for comfort, solace, and grace, and in doing so, we do such in unison with others. What is our next step in our walk with God?

 

As I pondered on the next step, I remembered the words, 'To Thyself Repair'. 'TO THY SELF REPAIR' is the title of my thesis as I read for my Ministerial course. As we heed the mandate of Government to stay in doors, we can pray more, read the Bible more, study God's word, call our relatives and friends on the telephone, and take care of our personal needs. Sometimes we are on the road too often, when there are things to attend at home. Psalm 46 verse 10 says, 'Be still and know that I am God.'  God is by our side, and He will see us through.' 'This too shall pass.'

 

As ministers we are always finding ways to reach the nations with the word of God.
