Dear Beloved, 

                          My peace and love to you. I pray that you and your loved ones are safe and abiding under the shadows of the Almighty. What is light? Light is the natural agent that stimulates sight, and makes things visible. What helps us see better during the day? The answer is 'the sun.' In today's word I am talking about 'the Son, Jesus.' Jesus Christ helps us glitter, glow. gleam, and radiate, so that we can walk in wisdom and understanding

 

In John chpt. 8 verse 12, Jesus says, 'I Am the light of the world.' 'He who follows me, shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.' In 1st John chpt. 1 verse 5b, it states, 'God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.' How do we follow Jesus? First of all, we keep these Commandments, which embodies the former 10 Commandments:- 'Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul, and love your neighbors the same way you love yourselves.' When we do this, everything falls into place. 

 

When Jesus said, 'I Am the light of the world,' He was referring to the principle inherent in the generic man. We who follow the inner principle shall have the light of life, for principle is life. What is principle? Principle is a rule or belief governing one's personal behavior. Principle is the fundamental truth that serves as a foundation for a system of belief or behavior. 'I AM ' is the first principal of all life, and the law of all cause and effect running through everything. 

 

In Exodus chpt. 3, God appeared to Moses with signs and wonders, and told him in verse 9, 'Now therefore, behold the cry of the children of Israel, has come to Me, and I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.' Verse 10 , 'Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharoah that you may bring My people, the children of Israel out of Egypt. Moses answered and asked, 'Whom am I that I should go to Pharoah, and I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? God answered and said, 'I will certainly be with you.' Verse 13, Then Moses said to God, 'Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'the Lord of your father has sent me to you, 'and they say to me, 'What is his name?' 'What shall I say to them?' Verse 14, 'And God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM'. 

 

This means that everything we attach to the 'I AM' must be positive, and harmonious. 'I AM' represents our will and understanding. The will is possible only through the development of the mind as a whole, and the development of man. The will moves to action all the other faculties of man. The other faculties of man, are understanding, faith, imagination, zeal, power, love, strength, wisdom. order, elimination, and life. Understanding,  according to metaphysics means, having insight and good judgment. The final test of understanding, is obedience to God.

 

When we follow Jesus, who is the light, we exercise good judgment, and move wholly in all our twelve faculties, and our way is clear. God is a lamp unto our feet, and a light onto our pathway. Let us keep affirming every day, 'I AM the light.' We will be what we will to be. We will be healthy, wealthy, and wise. My beloved,  continue to follow Jesus by praying without ceasing, reading your Bible, helping one another, thinking positive thoughts, continuing to be careful, and not fearful. Walk in the light right here on Planet Earth. Stay blessed.
