THE SEASON OF LENT 2015
Wednesday 18th February, 2015 is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent for 2015.This is the walk to Calvary. As Christians, we choose to go with Jesus in words and thoughts and deeds for the next forty days. First of all, we fast from negative thoughts, and feast on positive thoughts. Then we help others around us, who are in need, in any way we can.
As a rule, we follow the Stations of the Cross as we read about it, in the Bible, in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We keep our mind stayed on God. We take all our challenges to the feet of Jesus, and leave them there. We continue to meditate the first thing every morning. We tell God about our agenda for the day, and ask His guidance. When we do this, we achieve our goals, under grace in perfect ways. At the end of the day, before we sleep, we say, "I shall go to sleep, but the God in me remains awake, bringing all my present projects to successful conclusions." "I am strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might." "I manifest my real self now." "Thank you God."
"Nothing happens by chance."" All is in Divine Order." " We are blessed and we do deserve it." " I and my Father are one." "To God be the glory, great things He has done." "I am now surrounded by the pure white, light of the Christ, into which nothing negative can penetrate, out of which only good can come." "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." "I like me." "Be still and know, that I am God." These are some of the affirmations we can hold in mind, during the Lenten season, to keep our mind stayed on God.
I pray that God keeps and sustains us in a happy state of mind, now and forever. Amen. God bless.
